We had an amazing turn out this year at our launch event! Thank you to all the youth that came out and participated. We’re so excited to welcome everyone into our organization. Read below for information on our program.

The Net provides an opportunity for youth to be stakeholders in their community and personal development through leadership training, employment support, educational workshops, presentations, volunteering, and more. We provide year-round support and opportunities to youth 13 – 18 in Ancaster and surrounding rural areas.

By joining The Net Youth Team: a youth-led, agency-supported program that aims to help young people (aged 13-18) connect, learn, and be engaged in their community in a safe and supported manner. It is a program at Ancaster Community Services (ACS). ACS is a grassroots, volunteer-supported, registered charity with services and programs serving Ancaster residents since September 1969.

Once joined, youth are able to attain volunteer hours (which can be applied towards their required amount to earn their OSSD) by hosting/attending events and coming to weekly online meetings held on Zoom! Whether you’re on the Social Media, Volunteer Projects, or Special Events Subcommittee, when you join The Net Youth Team you’re bound to see your lasting impact on the community.
