Welcome to The Net’s official website! The Net is Ancaster’s First Youth Empowerment Program and since it’s launch in 2019, it has developed into a multi-dimensional program that offers unique projects, leadership opportunities, and volunteer activities aimed at engaging youth 13 – 18.
We’ve been contemplating for many months about having a website of our own to showcase upcoming opportunities for youth and highlight some of the amazing work that has already been done. We were fortunate to have the support of Hillfield Strathallan College’s Designwerx Team to design and develop this website. The team was amazing and we are forever thankful for their creativity and support.
Going forward, this blog will be a tool to allow youth to write articles about issues/events that matter most to them while earning volunteer hours for their work.
